We are dealing with the politics of drivel and sloganeering, and to me (whilst it is very very serious) it's no better than showbizzy-bollocks of "celebrity". Isn't America where we adopted this obsession with empty vacuous celebrity and reality tv from anyway? The yanks are fools to themselves thinking staged debates and media-tapping pledges actually mean anything!
