The boy band gets older and starts really looking crumbly.
"One gene more = mongoloid" Tom is we gather the talent in the writing department but the skills seem to be failing - One For The Radio is a hotchpotch of old 60s gimmicks and a missing melody. And his chin gets bigger.
Danny (wasn't he the cute one?) is ageing badly and seems to be chewing his fingernails on his increasingly stubby fingers.
Dougie (who was cute) is very lager loutish. And in the "I don't need to shave to prove I'm a man" period men in their 20s favour.
And the elderly drummer seems to be in his thirties.
Desperately the record company is pulling all the old marketing tricks to make it seem like the band still appeal but the little girls are all married/pregnant/mums and have moved on (plus even the most loyal fans need the cash for other things).
End of McFly... just as the label shrieks "they are number one" (by the way, wasn't this a bulk marketing ploy with one retail chain?).
Thoughts?
By the way, whatever happened to Busted (other than TV reality)?
