Al Visitor	Re:Maddie case shelved - 2008/07/23 15:06 One of the reporters on the BBC said that the McCanns could still face charges on child neglect, although that does look less likely as time moves on. I do think there is something dodgy about the whole thing, but that's just an instinct. I can't judge on evidence as I haven't actually seen any. The investigation seems to have been conducted on the assumption that Maddie was in her bedroom at a particular time, and went missing between certain hours. If that information was false, then it's understandable that they got no result.
