 Re:Glasgow East - means nothing; been there - 2008/07/25 12:13 On its own the result is a "local" affair - SNP v New Labour and means very little in national terms.

The problem for New Labour is that they lost a Council Election in London last night with a celeb candidate ( Blur Drummer ) in a safe Labour Council seat..........

They are over as a force in politics and Gordon Brown is basically a caretaker until Cameron takes over.

Lets hope the New Tories have better ideas and and try and clear up the mess we are in.....if they dont then we are all in trouble.
