John Marsden a high profile lawyer was accused of similar allegations in a TV show and he sued for libel. He claimed he had never "knowingly gone withanyone underaged". ( everyone knew he was into "rough" trade and most certainly not interested in young boys)
The wretched TV station stood their ground and put up his 3 accusers in apartments and provided weekly wages plus a promised bonus when they won.
The case dragged on over 6 years-Marsden produced evidence very similar to you-he tracked down his retired interior decorator who gave evidence that showed the guys could not have been to Marsden's house or bedroom until at least 4 years after they claimed.
One top QC even gave evidence that he gave Marsden-who lived on a huge country estate-a pet goat for his birthday-thus proving the same point.
The result-Marsden ( even after pleading in newspapers for the TV station to cave in) won his case and was awarded full costs plus SIX MILLION DOLLARS in damages-the highest ever given.
To date it's been the costliest private action worlwide ever taken in a court.
The final result-the stress over the years caused John Marsden's teeth to fall out-he got cancer within 2 years of the win and dropped dead on holiday in Istanbul.
His accusers shrugged their shoulders and walked away-the TV station probably claimed the whole cost as a tax deduction. Even in death Marsden got terrible write-ups because of one judge's statements who ignored the fact that Marsden like all other gay men had had to be secretive because his sexuality was a crime all during his young life.
