Re:Anti-Conspiracy Website - 2008/09/02 15:45
We make up our minds on the evidence we are given. Not the evidence that we are not given. This means it is very hard to gain the truth about things. In any case truth can be influenced by bias and perspective and experience.
Therefore both the Conspiracy Theorist and the Anti Conspiracy Theorist could be making points of truth about the same situation - yet the full picture about certain things may never be known.
Taking one fact in isolation is what most Conspiracy Theorists do - and then pretend the other facts do not exist. This is why they get such a bad press and many describe them as nut jobs. However, there are elements of truth in the 9.11 stories which seem to have undermined the official version - and we do see an increasing amount of Global Control of our lives by a sort of World Government. Certainly all the financial markets sing to the same tune and the G8 politicians.
