Martin K	I cant see any name being "dropped" from this thread except your own, "David", this is supposed to be entertaining reading,about genuine issues, and the very fact that you read it , proves that it is.
David	Are you sooo said that you have to name drop at any mention of a celebrity. Get in the real world mate!!!
JK2006	But, from what I've read, it seems, yet again, something that wouldn't have gotten a line in a local freesheet becomes a huge story because he's a celeb. One of the occupational hazards of being a star. I know them well. And I've benefitted enough from the pluses not to mind the minuses.
Martin K	I really do have a thing about anyone driving under the influence, anyone who knows me knows exactly why. I do agree he was a fool to do what he did, but I think that his statement held his own hands up to this, one of the main reasons that I didnt comment on this event was because of his own self retort. Quite a few months back, I got a "little bit pickled", with his ex Wham mate, and it occured to me then, that it doesnt matter how squeky clean an image can look, everybody is only human and will make mistakes. I only felt sadness for George when I came down and saw the situation on the news. But yes, he should have had a driver, and I think the only reason he did not have, was that he was disguising his private life......again...
