hedda even the "quality" tabloids indulge in it. it's reputation destruction by rumour and gossip.

one man makes a claim that Baroness Butler-Sloss said something and it's automatically accept as truth. The lie is halfway around the world but the truth never gets it's boots on.

the howls of indignation as they scream for "victims"(not yet established) to choose the head of an inquiry ie:let 'victims 'choose the judges, police etc etc...maybe wait until you are sick and then you can choose who your nurses should be or even who becomes a doctor.

I'm beginning to think the internet may be one of the worse things invented : just advertising alone : all advertising in every publishing form ( TV, newspapers etc)has plummeted by 40% which equals the amount of advertising Google has scooped up. Yet they pay a tiny smidgen in tax.
