I think WE had the Pound long before we acquired Scotland, angel !
How much would the loonies in Scotland have had to "give away" IF they had actually had to pay for what they got (ie Defence etc)?
Good Luck with the vote (I'm just investing in a company started to make Yorkshire Whisky - just in case!)
Oh come on ITK, you're descending into puerile territory now-not a surprise. "We had the pound first" makes no difference. Its our pound too regardless. Up here we're quite happy to "give away" our lovely Trident missile system. Somehow I don't think you'd be so welcoming. You might be a bit long in the tooth for the whisky to be ready.

I agree, it will be a massive NO.
Those saying they intend to vote "Yes" are only doing so to extract more concessions ... no (sane) person would jump off a cliff not knowing what was below !

Mrs ITK does not make Mr ITK Scotch eggs - ITK needs a new wife.

OK - I reckon it will be a pretty hefty NO vote and life will return to normal. Lots of money wasted (send it to Africa or India to save some of those 17,000 children a day dying). Entirely pointless referendum. If it DOES end up Yes - nothing changes except technically.
