Actually extraordinary; police and CPS need to take a long, hard look at what they pursue. It's not helped, of course, by the media who love "at least 1,400,000 small goats abused on Shetland" type stories which always become "why did police not pursue these goat allegations" and "CPS should have prosecuted goat abuser whilst he was alive".
Standing back, it is collective insanity, this moral panic about sex. And it only exists because media knows some real perverts love reading about it; the only way they get off. |
