Pru It sort of summed him up. Well meaning but strangely clumsy. For example, the references to multiple Scottish football failures (not that good an idea in the first place, but it also reminded people of those horrible staged pictures of him cheering on England when he was PM and trying NOT to seem Scottish) and the jokey reference to Dad's Army only to mispronounce 'Mainwaring' like someone who's never actually seen the show would do. All the same, I think the No campaign would have been better of if he'd run it from the start.
