andrew I thought it would never be made in to a series due to the police controversy along with cover ups from councils and local MPs.

I must say the BBC did a great job which is rare for me.
robbiex Having seen the last episode, the bbc felt that they had to have an extra 10 minutes at the end to explain that muslims aren't really bad people who are mysogonist and anti-Christian. They wouldn't have done that for any other group.

I found Episode One so upsetting that i couldn't bear to watch the rest.

The main girl Holly was clearly abused and forced to have sex with a horrible fat old pakistani man, but one of the other girls said that she wasn't abused and it was her choice. She said that it was mint. Why try and talk people into thinking that they have been abused when they don't think they have.

AND.. The way you say " horrible fat old pakistani man" gives the impression that being pakistani is part of the horribleness.

It probably is in the view of many young working class white girls. Remember the term paki isn't a complementary term.

If you are browbeaten and brainwashed into agreeing, then it is not your choice whatever age you are.
And dont forget, children are unable to consent.
