If the tories said that they would introduce decapitation for shop lifting, he would support it as long as the the person introducing it was wearing a blue rosette. Wonder what he thinks of the price capping on energy costs, originally proposed by Ed Milliband 2 years ago.

Predictions are made for the budget deficit - which current newspaper editor (Osborne) said would be gone by 2015.
This was in 2010. As the deficit increased, the budget surplus prediction was revised to 2020.
Later, the forecast was withdrawn altogether as any forecast would be either wrong and/or unachieved.
Now in 2017, the Manifesto suggests 'the middle of the next decade' for a budget surplus. 2025/6, maybe!?
With the National Debt soon to exceed £2,000 billion (£2 trillion), I wonder if anyone will believe this latest prediction...
