It's ridiculous corporations like News Corp, Google , Vodafone etc etc can set up false entities that shift vast profits made in the UK off-shore and claim they operate at a loss.

They leech off everybody who pays tax and GST.

Worst offenders are the biggest media companies which is why this theft is never addressed. No wonder they want the BBC privatised.

Oh, hedda ... you don't understand your own people, do you?

They queue up to use Amazon - because its cheaper !

They won't thank you for making it more expensive, and the income gained will be a lot less than anyone imagines as sales slump and people go elsewhere.
And the job losses .... oh, the job losses.

Amazon could operate from anywhere in the internet age. Force them out and you lose income AND jobs.

Leave economics to those who understand such things, eh?

JK2006 And I can't stand Hammond who answers McDonnell by saying Tories brought in minimum wage! Who cares? That was then; this is now. That's what I hate about traditional politicians (like used to be in PM's Questions). All they do is go on about the past instead of answering and dealing with the present.
JK2006 And he's right on SOCIAL MURDER. Police have been responsible for social murders and McDonnell says many politicians of both parties - all three parties - have been social murderers.
JK2006 His points are - raise taxes for the wealthy and corporations A LITTLE BIT. And borrow A LITTLE BIT MORE. There MUST be a transitional period for Brexit. He clearly says - a soft Brexit. I think he would be an excellent Chancellor.
