wyot Have to say the Thames/London parakeets are beautiful and multiplying by the year. Our little house in Surrey near the river is blessed by regular fly-overs, and a couple of times a year, we will see them land en mass around and in the garden and take off again on their mysterious way....simply, wonderful.
JK2006 It may be silly season but two great stories in today's media - the parrot who bit a thief, enabling cops to jail him with DNA, and the explosion of parakeets in the UK (I saw several in Hyde Park last week).
