wyot Well sadly you were right Mr King..finally got around to this and was so looking forward..I am in the rant bit but will persevere as need to see how the good bit ties up...
JK2006 Well this started absolutely brilliantly - she is such a good, no, great writer. But then it declined into a boring and frankly unpleasant rant about Kashmir (yes, awful, but so are many places) and lost interest until, briefly at the end, she returned to the graveyard and it sprang back to life, but too late. I doubt it will make the shortlist and certainly should not win the Booker Prize.
