Randall	Yes, I noticed that phrase too. Yet more verification of a point I regularly make here. In Marxist criminology, criminal status is derived less from individual actions and more from membership of a demographic categorisation. This woman has committed a crime that usually carries heavy penalties. But of course, she's an oppressed woman so she won't be held responsible. It will be the fault of a nasty man who made her do it by slapping her a few times in the 90s. By the way, being targeted for prosecution because of membership of a particular social group is a ground for claiming political asylum. Just have a think about how many men, and for how much, that covers.
MWTW	"The judge noted that she had a ‘complex, complicated and tragic history" Well that makes the accused feel a lot better I am sure. Again it proves let's go straight to court, do not look for evidence, pay compo, accused go directly to jail. It's just one big monopoly game for police abd CPS and they are happy just to pick up the rent, C#N/S
