Spee32HR Tireless worker for the disadvantaged and founder of the Alchemy Foundation and the Orpheus Trust - as well as being involved in other good works.

Gives a lot of his money away - his royalties from Phantom and Starlight, for example. And still enjoys a game of cricket...


JK2006 I was once having lunch in the same restaurant as Andrew Lloyd Webber who I've known since we were teenagers. As we left he called us over and said to me "JK I want you to write the lyrics for my new show - you're the perfect person". He then told me it was all about trains. "Yes Andrew; great idea" I said, declining politely. So Richard Stilgoe got the gig and made millions. Actually he was far better than I would have been anyway on Starlight Express.
