JK2006 Made on a Weinstein thread here - one of the reasons I (and many others) chose to ignore the absurd difference between the gender ages of consent was not just the incredible insult to men (that we were less capable than girls to decide at 16 who we wanted to have sex with) but also the incredible insult to females that they did not deserve protecting by the law if they were 16 or older where males did until they were 21!
