Combustible engines with intricate/complicated electrics - and liquid fuel - can be a dangerous combination.
It's why all top manufacturers are investing in hybrid and battery driven vehicles. The Nissan Leaf, for example.
London now has a rapidly increasing number of 'public power pumps' to cater for recharging, on the spot.
Somewhat ironic in a way - because the electricity required will still be generated, largely, by oil and gas.
