wyot Yes, and so effective because short term it makes the indignant feel better about their own transgressions...a moral outrage shot in the main vein...
JK2006 When I used to write a weekly page in the Sun in the 1980s, sometimes I had nothing to say and I always remembered - RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION works every time. Whip up outrage and indignation about something; the plebs love it. Felt it said more about them than about me.
