Why this will affect Assad is a mystery.

He had 60 cruise missiles last time .... this time is was 120.

If he wants 240 - or 480 - he only has to ask !!!

Fortunately even the utterly Mad Assad is slightly brighter than hedda, and will see this for himself.

This must be extremely worrying for the Russians.

Even though Syria is awash with Russian equipment and troops the skill with which the Coalition has been able to select targets shows that they know what is going on and where everyone is.

Very good point, PB

It will not have escaped the Russians (and the Iranians) that if the West can be that accurate with their precision bombing - to avoid Russian assets - it COULD be just as precise in hitting them if it chose to do so !

What we have also learned .... none of the Syrian (ie Russian) equipment works !!!!
andrew Expect a bloody mess in Europe now.
robbiex Its a bit worrying how the Russians say that there will be consequences, and I'm sure they aren't going to be as selective as the coalition in selecting military targets.
hedda surely even ITK is not this delusional.

Last time the US & Donald Trump bombed Syria they blew up an empty airfield (maybe that was deliberate).

Why this will affect Assad is a mystery. He'll be safely somewhere in a bunker in Damascus which the "Coalition" would not dare bomb as that would be a War Crime.

As for "tyrants"..the UK & USA rolled out the red carpet for the Saudi Arabian dictator in chief recently who has to date killed around 200,000 plus innocent Yemenis with US/UK bombs.

How is one tyrant more acceptable than another?
