JK2006 Maunkberry's was where my friend Michael saw an unknown new group and hired them to dance on my 100 Ton and a Feather video - they became Hot Gossip; Mike signed them and Arlene for management and his career as an agent really took off.
hedda David arranged for me to attend Elizabeth Taylor's 50th birthday party at Legends in Mayfair.

Wow that was something else given Richard Burton was completely pissed and out of control.

But whatever happened to Campbell Palmer? Such a nice man and host.
Legends was really good fun. As was Maunkberrys.

London just isn't the same. Last time I visited (2013) I just hatred the nightlife..restaurants were good though.
Mike And an ironic name, given his hair.
JK2006 David and I go back 52 years!
hedda indeed one of the few journalists lots of stars trust.

His doco on Freddie Mercury is superb.
