JK2006 Wrong way around - he was doing the interview promoting the film and mentioned it in passing as an example of how wrong it was and how things have changed for the better. But, like media, far better to assume the contrary. Better story.

I'm well qualified to judge things in 'historical context' Doctor King...and I understand fully it is right to bring these things out in the open....but is the time right to do this when he is promoting his latest film?....It does seem to have got the publicity....but will it backfire?..

....I'm not making any judgements myself....just pointing out the facts,and how they may come across to others....

Piers Morgan can't talk. There are now about 100 hacking civil cases still being settled by various tabloids.

Most are being settled on the court room steps and plaintiffs are receiving big damages.

While hacking may not be the most shocking crime..it's a crime and it was on an organized level sanctioned from the top.

The useless Met are ignoring what is still evidence of 100s of crimes now being revealed.

Piers Morgan was boss at The Mirror when all this happened.
