Had a look at Wikipedia, for movies - and still think that IMDb is better.

More comprehensive, focused and recent - with all releases in the same place.

Although I was surprised to see the gross takings, in a very short time, for Glass - quoted by Wikipedia.

This is the recent Samuel L Jackson/Bruce Willis movie.

So far, it's grossed $221 million worldwide.

On a budget of $20 million!

But don't you need a particular movie (and name) - to look up on Wikipedia - whereas IMDb gives you everything that's new.

Allowing you to buy one, stream it or watch it at the cinema. IMDb will even provide trailers and trivia!

I didnt know it gave you a list of the new films, Barney, so that is very helpful.
I think my problem is that round here there are not that many cinemas, and the films are on much later than other places, and off again quickly.

On the other hand, we do have a community cinema locally in a lovely art deco building which shows old films, new films, cabaret, film workshops, and lots of screenings for disabilities such as autism and dementia, and in South Liverpool, a proper old cinema with the giant screen and comfy chairs, so I cant complain too much!

JK2006 I'd have probably given Best Film to Stan and Ollie or Bohemian Rhapsody. But Roma is excellent, as is The Favourite. The only movie I really hated was A Star Is Born and even that deserved all the Grammys and Music Awards - some really good songs. But little else.
