wyot Yes was very understated and all the bette4 for it. I certainly hope there is a second series but suspect there won't as doubt money will swing it for him....
JK2006 Not that he did too much acting wyot; actually that was something I rather liked; his very under played performance as opposed to doing the obvious. I thought it made it all far more convincing and intriguing.
wyot I really enjoyed it as well, but did readan interview with Gere saying it all took too long to do a long TV series and this was his first and last....
JK2006 The good news is that this is well set for a second series which it thoroughly deserves.
JK2006 I have to say this has been a terrific series taking very different approaches to deep problems in modern society. I like it that the "goody" may be a "villain" and the villain just could be a goody - but there are no simple explanations. Good acting and great script.
