Michael At the time, waltzing was absolutely outrageous, as there was physical contact (which could get quite close, even allowing for the massive dresses that maintained a certain amount of decorum. Michael Actually, I really enjoy reading about what are basically old showbiz stories. Jacues Brel and Edith Piaf have incredible stories. Maria Callas - inspiring and extremely tragic at the same time.

But one of the most surprising (and least known) is the extraordinary tale of the two Johann Strauss', father and son. It has everything: glamour, pomp, crowned heads, excess, rags to riches and - I put this forward cautiously - some extraordinary music, if you can manage to listen without thinking of Andr
JK2006 very well done and extraordinary to watch.
