...Trump seems to have flipped over the NHS being part of a trade deal...but given the NHS is in a complete mess anyway...and many of those shouting the loudest about this matter rarely use it....
Remember there's a lot of third parties that have taken chunks out of the NHS. Cleaning staff are employed by a contractor Serco, Interserve supply additional care like Care UK,Arriva supply hospital transport. Didn't Labour hire a company for billions to sort out an IT system for the NHS which took years to get off the ground.
I think Trump was suggesting the UK could by equipment from USA. |

Joking aside I have followed your posting here in various guises since your arrival here about 11 years ago...your best posts have always been based on your font of personal experience...this being a classic example...you will continue to get my full backing for everything I see you do well...as is the opposite where I think you are abusing facts or situations...its the same I apply to all posters....and can confuse,as it may appear I can turn...

When I say there is Evil stalking the land it's true..the False Allegations Industry is fueled by utter claptrap like this.
This is an example of the relentless propaganda campaign to undermine due process and the presumption of innocence. Same as the #believeallwimmin campaigns and the Goebbels-esque repetition of the Only 3% Of Rape Accusations Are False lie. On closer inspections, ALL the campaigners behind these movements have a background in revolutionary extremist left wing activism.
Once the (hard-won) rights of presumption of innocence and due process have been destroyed, it will be easy to dispossess the accused and redistribute their assets and influence. This is why almost every so-called sex offender is a white, middle class, middle aged man. The Catholic Church is a particularly lucrative target, but so are teachers, carers and medical professionals because of the public liability insurance payouts. I don't believe that any of these campaigners genuinely believe that what they're working for is truly fair or just, or that there's any real concern for true victims or preventative measures for the future. It's just a political scam they've worked out to achieve their own greed.
Hedda, you have my sympathy for your misfortune, and well done for facing your adversity and overcoming it. |

Heartfelt and spot on. I'm sorry that this happened to you, hedda. Good to hear that your attackers got their comeuppance.
I wonder if George Pell is being made to pay for abuse by other Catholic clergy. The allegations against him do seem absurd and it's outrageous that anyone should be suggesting that he be prevented from appealing. Interesting that they live-stream the court proceedings. I wonder if that has any effect on getting a fair trial. |
