Britain has 1,000 castles, in a magnificent countryside - with quaint and ancient pubs nearby.

And the finest city (London) in the world - with theatre and the arts, at the forefront. In addition to the best education and sport.

Every country on earth watches the English Premier League - no other sport/league is in such demand.

That's just for starters. But, as Samuel Johnson said - 'if you're tired of London, you're tired of life'.

Recently, I was in a pub in Norfolk - where Horatio Nelson drank. A yank came and said - 'my Dad was stationed around here in WWII - was this pub here then?'

One of the locals replied - 'it was here before America'...

we don't blame Brexit for everything and yes the world is rapidly changing and that is why Brexit..the most monumental change in our lifetime is such a dramatic move with no certainty.

To dismiss the fact the UK will have no trade deals the day after..or to believe the absolute nonsense that such deals can be done overnight and not years is pure fantasy.

It's a step into the unknown..with no life support or safety harness.

## I have a lady friend who took possession of her mother's 1985 Rolls Royce. Take note JK: she's just spent $22K turning into a fabulous electric car..set for another 30/40 years of action. It's frighteningly quiet and unbelievably smooth.

You live in London JK so how many changes in which car to buy? Not petrol get diesel don't get diesel get electric and now the electric cabs have a petrol engine to charge the vehicle. Buy a diesel cab you msy nothe be able to use it in the next 5 years.
It ain't Brexit it ain't Brexit, shake you're head done believe the fake news

Indeed what sort of cars will be made is a huge factor.

Capitalism and corporations have no "morals" and certainly do not indulge in racism so they will go where the money is (to be made).

It is pure madness to deny the uncertainty of the UK separating itself from a market of over 500 million people..and then trying to rebuild that market over the years.

Of course the EU will still be there and still ..perhaps..want British goods. But that also denies the reality that we really are Global Village now and whatever Britain once produced can now come from anywhere.

Britain doesn't even own it's wonderful brands anymore like Rolls Royce.

## In the 1960s The Beatles got their MBEs for almost saving the UK and balance of payments such was the success of British music and the uniqueness of then what the UK was churning out.
(and the late Kit Lambert always said the reason the UK produced so much great music was because teens could survive on The Dole and concentrate on music)
### apparently one bloke wrote a song about the going to the frigging Moon and it was successful.

But now look at the music scene. Watch The Voice ( I love it because it isn't a Simon Cowell show)..in almost every country and 100s of fabulous singers appear on it.

What does Britain now produce (apart from the best reality show on Earth..the Royal Family) that is so special..that can't be made in Mexico or Korea?
There is the BBC but how long will that last?

#### And Please Explain: why do avid Brexiters turn up at events wearing MAGA hats and call themselves patriots and Remainers "traitors"?
