hedda i think the king of Saudi Arabia is the only one with a private 747 (where they even around when Nick was a kid?)

all the others..for bands etc are leased.

JK2006 Oh yes I knew Bruce quite well and his managers even better.
wyot Randomly watched few months ago a fadcinating doc on Iron Maiden who hired a 747 - decorated the wings and tail fins with band logos and mascot "Eddie" - converted the entire plan to hold crew and kit and the lead singer a qualified pilot flew the plane around the world on tour. Forget whether the band is your cup of tea the logistics and operations as well as the intelligence of the lead singer was fascinating...
Green Man I know plenty of people with their own planes and helicopters - yet they never let their own wifes fly in them...let alone a stranger.


I don't anyone who actually owns a 747 unless meeting Branson at a conference counts ?
