When we use our cars the elite try and make us feel guilty. Public transport is shit in UK and Ireland. The next Transport minister should visit Canada and Vermont to see how they do it properly.

Barney	Ignoring the car's purchase costs, the annual running cost of an average care is £2,000. For tax, insurance, servicing, fuel etc. Thus an individual's annual transport cost will take around £5,000 from disposable income (after tax).
Barney	Set to increase by 2.7% in January. Making the cost of the average season ticket more than £3,000, for the first time. Fares have risen over twice more than wages, in the past 10 years. 42% - compared to 18%. Most need to run a car too...
