JK2006 I've known 42 year olds who I think are quite incapable of making mature decisions and 16 year olds who are much more adult than I am, Jo.
Jo I'd have liked to have seen that conversation with a 42-year-old rugby player. Someone nearer his own age would likely have had the nous to tell him where to go rather than cheep "As long as your not trying anything with me I don’t mind u being gay.” Perhaps malleability was part of the reason why he thought he could be so persistent with such a much younger - and legal but barely so - person.
JK2006 Because it's a good story Honey and media rools OK? If they decide a blonde should not have a relationship with someone with brown eyes they will scream "pervert", employers will fire them, shops refuse to serve them and idiots will throw verbal stones; welcome to Trollsville.
Honey I don't get it. It is, in my opinion, a bit sleazy because the boy was a junior member of his party, but what is the point of having an age of consent if they don't let people consent in peace?
JK2006 Yet another media created storm removes someone who was apparently a decent Minister; deserted by everyone for wanting to develop a friendship with someone old enough and mature enough to decide whether or not to allow it.
