Barney Now becoming the norm in the UK - because of the virus - just like the US. In pubs, restaurants and shops.

To prevent infection, and likely to continue after the current threat passes. A cashless society awaits us.

Sweden though is the world leader in 'cashlessness' - producing currency from your pocket there, is deemed extremely peculiar.

And unacceptable - commercially and socially.

Here the biggest pub/operator (Wetherspoons) have signs up - telling customers of their preference for card transactions only.

Wetherspoons also have an app ordering system - by which, after finding a numbered table - you order your food and drink (via the app), and pay by card.

Your purchased items are then delivered to your individual table. Condiments can be collected nearby.
