wyot It is interesting - to me anyway! - what we (as nations I mean) decide to focus on and why. Lots of things kill significant numbers of us every year one way or another-cars, flu, air pollution, planes, coal power stations etc etc.

One of the clearest divides in the current situation is between those that question why covid, as just one risk, should result in lockdown, and those who don't seem to ask the question at all.

It is as if lockdown must be justified because lockdown has happened.
