JK2006 I liked Ian McEwan's short novel or novella - not as much as Animal's People which should have won the Booker Prize in 2007; much more than The Gathering which did win.
But he's written many better.
I hoped I'd like the film (on BBC2 tonight) but I didn't much. Slow and rather dull.
