Police reacted badly on Friday as Prosecutor said to a court the case was dropped. Coppers demanded the case be continued with but a judge threw it out.

A lawyer pal went to the High Court on Canberra some years ago and managed to get a 100 year precedent overturned stating police could not be sued for malicious prosecution. He got a settlement for his client, a woman falsely accused of attempted murder, around $6M in compo.

Wonder if this lot will sue. I notice said Plod have basically said quite defamatory thongs to media about this family. Talk about bad losers..hope NSW police are sued to bigger.[/quote]
