Wyot	You sense the drive to get the numbers up don't you? Hospitals are obliged to record like this anything that had the faintest chance of being a "Covid death". They aren't obliged to record flu or pneaumonia deaths. Though if someone arrives on deaths door with pneuamonia or flu and as - as is likely - picks up covid during a stay in hospital and dies when they would have died anyway, this is added to the Covid stats. So these stats contain "business as usual" deaths. As well as the "suspected"; whatever they are. Perhaps the only salient point is that we are moving through autumn towards winter; and this seasonal change will lead to increased deaths in the vulnerable. But amidst the hysteria, this won't be heard.
Honey	In this article about extra deaths related to covid it says at the end that it includes "suspected cases". What the heck is a "suspected case"? You dont need to "suspect" when can just test. I realise that there might be cases where perhaps someone dies of heart damage caused by a previous undiagnosed covid infection, or something, but these figures should be separate, not lumped in with the rest. news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-excess-de...ow-ons-says-12091464
