JK2006 Another of the huge advantages of Covid19 lockdowns; unable to make bad new TV shows and films, companies are digging out and reshowing brilliant older shows. This six hour masterpiece (better than many feature films) has been reshown twice a night over the past three nights. Utterly magnificent. OK I'm biased (being a HUGE Le Carre fan) but it really did shine like a diamond.
Wyot Yes watched it the first time and loved everything about it; so well done.
hedda superb and brilliant actors
JK2006 Reshowing on BBC4 (and iPlayer) this is and was Soo good. Interesting for me; the Cairo hotel was actually my one in Morocco and I was staying there when they were filmed. Question being - who is better? Hugh Laurie or Tom Hollander? Both superb. John le Carre in the restaurant Episode 3 or 4. Fantastic show. 6 parter.
