hedda Am I alone in thinking that if some Royal said "what colour will Archie be?" doesn't sound racist rather a sort of matter of fact question?

Isn't it a bit like asking "will Archie have red hair like his Dad?"

I mean Archie is 6th in line to the throne so I just can't imagine any Royal disrespecting a possible future King.

He was born an Earl which is pretty swell. And often royal titles are given by The Queen as children grow older. Surely Harry knew that by dropping his Royal duties he loses the HRH title just as Diana did. He couldn't have hoped to keep it and not contribute by opening the occasional garden fete.

And who asked? Apparently not Phillip which I would have loved as I bet it wasn't meant to be "racist" rather something he might ponder on over a G&T with his pals.

My suspicions: Princess Michael of Kent, she with the Nazi father. After all Diana used to lock her cats out at Kensington Palace to which Michael responded "they and I were here long before you were"

Or naughty Camila who I've grown quite fond of.

As a World Exclusive for JK readers, I have a pal who works a scullery maid at Ken Pal and he filmed this encounter between Meghan & Kate which should put to rest those bullying claims.
Jo That is very interesting about Princess Anne, Honey. It certainly sounded to me as if their main axe to grind was money, whether being "cut off" financially or having to pay for their own security.

They seem to have been pretty dishonest if this is anything to go by.

Harry and Meghan were in talks with video platform a year before ‘Megxit’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were discussing projects with a billion-dollar backed US streaming service a year before they stepped down as senior members of the Royal family, it has emerged.

The Sussexes had a series of meetings with Quibi, a now-defunct rival to YouTube, from early 2019 until after they dropped their 'Megxit' bombshell in January last year.

The Duke returned from the so-called Sandringham Summit to meet executives from the short video platform in London as plans for him to provide content apparently reached advanced stages.

In their interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple said that they “didn’t have a plan” upon leaving the Royal family, but The Telegraph has learnt that they had talks with executives of the £1.3 billion start-up before their son Archie was born in May 2019.

The discussions are understood to have led to tensions with Palace staff fearful they would be accused of “cashing in” on their status, and because the couple were predominantly consulting Meghan’s US-based team of advisers.

A source with knowledge of the situation said: “There were well-developed proposals in place with Quibi from early 2019.”

A royal source added: “A lot of it was orchestrated by Meghan’s people in America. It was a bit of a secret squirrel.”

They told Oprah Winfrey they “didn’t have a plan”. Revealing that they had been “cut off” by the Royal family, Harry, Duke of Sussex, insisted that he and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, only signed deals with Netflix and Spotify out of immediate financial necessity.

As the Duke told the US chat show host: “The Netflix and the Spotify, they’re all . . . that was never part of the plan.”

“Because you didn’t have a plan?” prompted Ms Winfrey. “We didn’t have a plan,” replied the Duchess, with the Duke adding: “We didn’t have a plan. That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford . . . afford security for us.”

That Meghan might want to fool people and get them to agree with her does sound plausible. I was watching an interview with someone on this subject last night and they thought the story was motivated by a desire to show that the couple had managed to keep something private to themselves and had got one up on the media and the public.

Even the chickens weren't true? What next!

I see that Lady Colin Campbell is saying that the royal accused of making racist remarks is Princess Anne. But according to Lady C Princess Anne wasn't concerned about skin colour but about the fact that Meghan wasn't the kind of American who had the necessary cultural awareness for a royal role. (YouTube: Lady C REVEALS the Royal Meghan & Harry wouldn't name + why Prince Albert intervened) If that's true, it seems a bit of a stretch to be claiming the conversation(s) and been about skin colour and how it would look. But I wonder how reliable a source Lady C is. I think she said that Oprah had claimed to have faced racism in a handbag shop in Sweden, but it was Switzerland (www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2013/au...ogy-racist-treatment). Oprah had been put out because the assistant had told her that a bag Oprah was interested in was too expensive to be taken off the shelf and shown to her. Oprah also had a story about not getting the handbag she wanted in a handbag shop (Louis Vuitton) in Rome because the assistant said the bag she wanted was only for Italians (YouTube: The Store that Refused to Sell Oprah a Handbag). Seems a bit of a coincidence that she should have such a similar experience in two handbag shops, but I suppose it's not impossible.

I bet lots of them warned Harry not to marry her after she (apparently) told them she had come to save them, transform the monarchy and guide them in race relations!

I read something that claimed that Princess Anne is a trustee for the money Harry was left by the Queen Mother, and that she has increased the pay-out age from forty to forty-five.
If this is true, Anne is very wise, and it explains why they would have it in for her.

About the chickens, I am reliably informed that the breed of chicken they have is not used commercially for eggs or meat, so unlikely to have been rescued, as she said.

Those divine freckles on the end of her lovely nose are real though yes? Please don't tell me they can be cosmetically added?

The freckles are real but the nose is not.
