JK2006 Whilst it was a joy to go to the theatre again (first time since Feb 2020) and wonderful to see so many people dress up to look smart to attend a show but I really didn't like Cinderella. Not a hit melody in sight. Very old fashioned theatre (I don't mind old fashioned - my favourites are Kismet, The King And I, South Pacific - as long as there are HITS in there). All the usual staging, performing, script tricks. Not a single actor with charisma on stage. I left half way through. Sure it will be a hit though (I didn't like Hamilton either, for the same reasons).
