Although the late media mogul Kerry Packer did actually say this after a heart attack where he apparently died for 5 minutes.

"Nothing there" he said.

But is there such a thing as "nothing"? It's like trying to understand what infinity is in Space

How do you describe "nothing"? Is there such a thing?

Packer remembered nothing? Clearly, he didn't study logic as a youngster. You can't remember - you can't anything - an absence...

I'm an atheist too GM. But so was Stalin who introduced a 5 year plan (1932-1937) to eradicate all religion in the Soviet Union...I believe we should not shy away from calling this what it was: killing in the name of God.

But if it isn't God it will be something else.

What peculiar animals we are; the only kind that kill for ideas; not just for sexual-selection, or to eat.

hedda nothing has been shown that his family are not innocent bystanders in this drama.

"Following the backlash, Mr Ashworth later apologised, tweeting: "This is obviously embarrassing I misread the news ticker in an interview and thought a member of the public had now died. My deepest apologies for this mistake."

there is no reason to disbelieve his later statement but I bet it's ignored.

Just a small example of how the media dictates belief these days, often devoid of fact.

This was used effectively against Jeremy Corbyn as he was (falsely) and relentlessly painted as "antisemitic" a "spy" a "supporter of terrorists (by attending a grave site) with "extremist policies" etc etc.

Despite each claim being shown to be a blatant lie ..the lie remained as "truth".
