JK2006 Well I loved it. It needs to be seen on a huge screen with terrific sound quality (I went to iMax) and although I loved the novels (in the 60s or 70s) and the bonkers movie with Sting in it, I still had no idea what on earth was going on, but it is so well done, spectacular way beyond all the SuperHero comic movies, stunning music and effects... you don't see much of the giant sand worms (the stars) but when you do (teasing) it's fabulous and we are poised for Part Two. I absolutely understand people not getting it but I was bowled over. It captures the atmosphere I remember in a really up-to-date way, using every new trick available.
