The left see everyone as a type - suppressed, victims of forces outside their control. The right everyone as a free moral and responsible agent; wherever people are in life is down to them. The truth is a mixture of both. But this doesn't suit our categorical minds; which tend to be wired to the left or right. And so it goes on. God exists/doesn't exist. Covid is deadly/Covid is made up. Saville was evil/it is all a witch hunt. Prince Andrew is scum/Giuffre is a gold-digging whore. We all do it, to some extent. We should all resist it, as much as we are able to. But it makes for less interesting posts so don't let's all do it too much
