Yes okay Police are there to respond (though prevent has now gone out the window) violent crime. But outside of this they either seem a branch of Gov control through appearing in their thousands out of thin air to disperse peaceful demonstrations, or in policing "socially correct" agendas.
Green Man The police like easy pickings like Twitter users telling jokes, motorists, litter bugs and those who piss in the street's whilst being completely wasted.

Burglaries means they have go out and meet members of the public and using initiative.

I still want my Genesis box sets, generator with fuel and power tools all returned. The coppers told me to look on ebay or gumtree incase they sold them on. I said to the officer does that mean buying back that was mine in the first place ? He looked at me all blank and confused.

Meanwhile in 13 Police boroughs zero burglaries have resulted in successful prosecution during the past 3 years.

Really serious question: what is the Police for nowadays? What is it's purpose? I am not being facetious: I am genuinely puzzled.
