JK2006 I'll be watching any other finals as I do with most sports but won't be bothering with less important matches unlike - for example - the World Cup of men's football, which I'll be glued to. In Tennis I watch many of the games leading up to the four big titles by men but only those females that play really good tennis (Serena, Martina etc). If there was a sport created for and enjoyed by women I'd happily watch it (having babies?). Yes we are the same species. Yes - each gender is different. Yes - men are better at some things and women at others whilst in many areas gender makes no difference at all (culture, art, writing). But it is absurd thinking that each gender is the same; they are not. Built different; think different; behave different. Of course there are exceptions to the rule. My Mum was a great driver but knew that generally women are dreadful drivers.
JK2006 "They have made history" say the awful commentators (female). What else does playing a game, winning or losing, do? Is there a NON-history? The superficiality and stupidity of our species continues to grow.
JK2006 But I have to say I really do not enjoy women's football. God knows how they managed extra time; every face was saying "we should be at home darning socks and cooking dinner". I fear a penalty shoot out might have seen every player pass away. Women's football, like tennis, is a silly idea.
