Jim Swire was one of the few made his point very well. An amazing human being.

It does disturb me Veritas; the only other voice I saw raised in protest was our mutually admired Madame Arcati. Even ITK on here simply seems unable to see the point in what we're saying and defends his delight with slights on the man - just as people did with Saddam's death (equally disturbing; not the process so much but the unashamed prurience).
It seems as a species we have become desensitised from compassion. As you notice I fear this is in preparation for our extinction as a species.

The ghastly end of Gaddaffi-undoubtedly an awful man-and the way the media has featured it shows how our media has now gone beyond a sort of collective 'Stalinist' ( JK'S words!) type pf propaganda unit.
One day they celebrate the brutal end of a dictator without a single word of condemnation of how it happened.
More frightening..every major leader has lined up to celebrate it as well with not one questioning how he died (including the two British born Oz leaders in between taking tea with HM The Queen)
Today organisations are calling for investigations into the whole matter as it emerges it is more than likely he and his son were executed without trial.
Again I hark back to the Nuremberg Trials which mainly the Americans insisted happen for the very good reason that we in the so-called civilised countries must always show that every person no matter how awful should be seen to have a fair trial.
I'm quite confused. I fear JK's claim we are headed for destruction as a race could be correct.
