Helen

I refer you to the answer that i gave TWO MONTHS AGO -

What's the difference between Glastonbury and the Olympics?

A. You cannot get tickets for Glastonbury !!!!!!

This question was put to ITK some time ago; he was unable to provide an answer.

Sadly, he's against ALL events - including those which don't/can't cover their costs.

Olympics, Jubilees, Royal Weddings etc. etc.

However, most rational people think otherwise - as well as all the major political parties, elected by the people of the UK.

You say 'the vast majority of the contracts were awarded under a Labour government'. You might or might not be right, but where do you get that 'vast majority' thing from? I am puzzled as to where you get your privileged information from.

David the entire thing had been BUILT by the time this government came into power FCS !

And, more importantly, the current government has been in power for 2 years and 2 months. That's more than enough time to spot that things are going wrong and take action. And they didn't, until the very last moment.

The government were only told very recently about shortages of staff -by the people that LABOUR employed !

Witney, Oxfordshire. Home to David Cameron. Funny, that.

I wonder how they got the contract?

Don't know for sure in this example - but the vast majority of the contracts were awarded under a Labour government (by EX Labour Ministers !) (see above)
