Actually teen brains are still developing at 18 it's only in the early 20s that your brain reaches it's maximum. Except for some rare cases. |

An 18 year old is not a child, not by any measure. I know these are not your words, but the words of Mein kampf (sorry the daily mail). jk will tell you the official definition of a child is someone under 14. Even going on the age of consent then it is 16.
Just because you are not old enough to consent to sex, it doesn't mean that you should just be allowed to abuse and rape other people at will. They should just be tried differently, as children. I'm quite a liberal minded person, but can't accept. Sexual abuse can be very damaging to the victims, whether the the perpertrator is over or under 18. There are some false accusers out there, but then again there are many genuine victims, who mustn't be dismissed. |
