"Smoke gets in your eyes" makes me slightly nauseous because it reminds me of stinky paraffin, and the most disappointing flexi disc ever released.

JK2006 Just watched Rock Around The Clock again; film stolen by The Platters. Two of the greatest pop records ever made; The Great Pretender and Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. Seventy years ago and still superb.
