Green Man Very sad news indeed. He tried very hard to fight the cancer, he even did a few concerts in the last few months or so. Released a great album and was working on the next one, not forgetting working on an autobiography. (I am not sure if it was completed)

John Springate did announce on social media recently he will tour next year. I have no idea who else from Glitter Band is involved. It will be either Tony Leonard or Pete Phipps will be on the drums I doubt they 2 will be on stage together. Hopefully Eddy Spence is on board to play the keys, he performed with the Glitter Band in the the in the early 80's onwards.

This is one band that certainly been to hell and back. They lost Gerry Shepard, John Rossall and Harvey Ellison. All RIP

I am not sure who owns the rights to use the Glitter Band name now; there was huge legal battle in the 80's with Phipps and Rossall. However it was still on going during Rossall final few months. Springate has avoided conflict as much as possible what I have heard.

There is three parts of the truth. Part 1: Your truth, Part2: their truth and Part 3: The actual truth.
